Coping with sobriety and a failed art career, Shiv returns home to Dublin to her dysfunctional but lovable family. Her parents and siblings are understandably wary to have her back. Shiv's messy issues tend to spill over to the parts of their own lives they'd rather not deal with, like her parents' failing marriage and the lingering trauma from her elder brother's death.
